
Marshall One Of Seven Blue Crabs Named To Liberty Division Lineup For All-Star Game

WALDORF, Md. - Southern Maryland Blue Crabs starting pitcher Ian Marshall has been added to the 2013 Atlantic League Roster it was announced today by the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
Marshall will be one of seven Blue Crabs to represent Southern Maryland at this year's game as he joins fellow starting pitcher Daryl Thompson on the mound for the Liberty Division. Along with Thompson, Marshall has been among the top 10 in the league in pitching in 2013 and has recorded a 7-3 record thus far in his first season as a Blue Crab and as part of the Atlantic League.
The right-hander currently leads the team in wins (seven), innings pitched (81) and strikeouts (58), while his 3.77 ERA is good for second among Southern Maryland Starters. His 81 innings pitched also round out the top five in the Atlantic League in that category.
