Marlies Recall Stefano Giliati And Joey Ryan From Reading

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has recalled forward Stefano Giliati and defenceman Joey Ryan from their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.

Giliati, 22, has skated in 25 games this season with the Royals, recording 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points. The Montreal, QC native ranks third on the club in goals and fourth in points. Last season with the Marlies, Giliati registered 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 53 games.

Ryan, 22, has played in 25 games with Reading this season, totaling six points (two goals, four assists) and 37 penalty minutes. The Stoneham, MA native ranks fourth on the Royals in penalty minutes. During the 2008-09 season with the Marlies, Ryan notched three goals and nine assists for 12 points.

The Marlies take on the W-B/Scranton Penguins, AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the Wachovia Arena.
