
Marlies Defeat San Antonio 2-1 at Ricoh Coliseum

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, by a score of 2-1 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Toronto opened the scoring on the first shift of the game when Tyler Biggs notched his 6th goal of the season just 10 seconds in. Jerry D'Amigo's 14th tally of the year gave the Marlies a 2-0 lead before the end of the first period. After a scoreless middle frame, Bobby Butler cut Toronto's lead to one at 15:04 of the third period. Drew MacIntyre stopped 22 of 23 shots to earn his league leading 23rd victory of the season.
The Marlies return to the ice tomorrow afternoon when they host the Oklahoma City Barons, AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, at 4 p.m. The game can be seen live on Sportsnet 360.
