AT THE DISH: After connecting on a walk-off, two-run homer Monday evening, Joshua Fuentes singled home the tying run in the eighth inning, then Ryan Vilade crossed the plate on a fielding error by the center fielder ... Brian Serven blasted his 15th home run of the season ... Fuentes and Serven each had two hits, as did Wynton Bernard after entering the game via double switch.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Ryan Castellani was outstanding, allowing just three hits and two runs (one earned) in 5.1 innings with three walks and eight strikeouts ... Nate Griep (1-0) and Justin Lawrence (11th save) each tossed a scoreless frame.

TOPES TIDBITS: Albuquerque improved to 11-4 all-time when playing as the Mariachis at home ... The club won their first series since defeating Salt Lake in five of six contests from July 29-Aug. 3 ... The Isotopes finished 13-11 against El Paso in 2021, their fifth time winning the season series from the Chihuahuas in seven seasons of play against one another ... In 15 games wearing the Mariachis uniform, Fuentes is batting .421.

ON DECK: The Topes will be back in action when they face the Sugar Land Skeeters (AAA Houston) in a 6:05 MT (7:05 CT) start from Constellation Field on Thursday evening. Neither team has announced a probable.
