Wednesday, July 27 will be Marcellus Shale Pack the Park Night at Historic Bowman Field as the Williamsport Crosscutters host the Vermont Lake Monsters at 7:05pm.
The game, presented by HB Rentals, the Williamsport Lycoming Chamber of Commerce and WILQ, will welcome those employed in the natural gas field and celebrate the new Marcellus Shale industry in the area.
"We really wanted to have a night focused on the natural gas industry where people new to the area could come out with their families and experience Cutters Baseball, one of the many great summer activities in our region," said Cutters Vice President Gabe Sinicropi. "We have offered free tickets to businesses working in the industry, courtesy of our sponsors, so that they can provide a fun night for all of their employees."
The night will also feature an act making it's first-ever Williamsport area appearance, Team Ghost Riders from Mississippi. The act, big on the rodeo circuit, features three trained monkeys who love to dress up as cowboys and ride dogs while performing tricks and stunts. Complimentary general admission tickets are available for fans at HB Rentals in Mill Hall and the Lycoming County Visitors Center on William St. in Williamsport next to Perkins and the Hampton Inn.
