Mallette Traded to 67's

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced earlier today that the club has traded right-winger TRENT MALLETTE to the Eastern Conference's Ottawa 67's.

In exchange the Hounds receive a conditional 12th round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.

Mallette, a native of Levack, ON is amidst his 3rd season in the Ontario Hockey League. In 113 regular season games he has 8 goals and 9 assists, for 17 points along with a +11 rating.

The Hounds and 67's will meet twice this season; Friday, November 21 in Ottawa before returning to Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday, January 3rd.

Meanwhile, the Hounds continue their present roadtrip TONIGHT when they skate into the Yardmen Arena in Belleville versus the Bulls. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and you can hear all the action starting at 6:35 p.m. on the Hounds' flagship station, Rock 101 (101.3 FM, www.rock101.net )
