MOLINE, Ill. - Matt Neal scored with just 19 seconds left in overtime to give the host Quad City Mallards (18-15-3) a 3-2 win over the Kalamazoo Wings (14-20-3) Friday night.

Neal tipped in Darren McMillan's centering feed to secure a come-from-behind victory.

The Mallards had twice rallied to tie the game in the second period. After Kalamazoo's Charlie Vasaturo opened the scoring at 1:54 of the second with a one timer from the left wing circle, Mike Monfredo evened the score with a rising drive from the left wing circle at 5:41 of the middle frame.

The Wings retook the lead while on the power play when Dane Fox pounced on a rebound at 7:12. Olivier Archambault raced in on the left wing to rifle the puck home off Kalamazoo goaltender Joel Martin and deadlock the game at two at the 16:47 mark.

The Mallards return to action on the road tomorrow night against the Evansville IceMen. The Mallards next play at home Sunday at 4:05 p.m. against the Wings.
