Moline, IL – The Mallards journey to Michigan for a two-game set this week. On Wednesday, the Mallards are in Port Huron for the last time this season. The team visits Muskegon on Friday for their first meeting since January 23rd at The MARK. Quad City returns home to face Missouri on Saturday for the Tenth Annual Mallards Jersey Auction with proceeds benefiting Genesis Health Systems. On Sunday, the Mallards host Family Fun-Day Sunday vs. the Richmond RiverDogs. Last week, the Mallards went 2-1-1 with victories over Kansas City and Adirondack.

· Saturday, February 19th vs. the Missouri River Otters- Jersey Auction Night / Old Time Hockey Night featuring the organ music of Frank Pellico

The Mallards Jersey Auction is back for its tenth season. The team will be sporting a special one-night only jersey vs. the Otters. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to fans in attendance with proceeds going to Genesis Health Systems. Genesis will use the proceeds to buy equipment designed to break down tumors. Over the first nine seasons of the Mallards jersey auction, the event has raised $410,000 for charity. It's also Frank Pellico's third appearance of the season at The MARK. Pellico is the legendary Chicago Blackhawks organist and has quickly developed a following amongst Mallards fans. The Mallards opponent, the Missouri River Otters, feature two NHL players-Barrett Jackman, the 2002-03 NHL Rookie of the Year, and Ryan Johnson.

· Sunday, February 20th vs. the Richmond RiverDogs-Family Fun-Day Sunday / 4 for $40

Family Fun-Day is back at The MARK on February 20th vs. Richmond. The Mallards face the RiverDogs for the only time this season at 3:00 p.m. A 4 for $40 package is available for the Family Fun-Day Showdown. Fans can get four upper sidelines tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for only $40! This offer is available exclusively at The MARK box office. After the game, fans are invited down to the ice for a skate with the Mallards.

· Saturday, February 26th vs. the Motor City Mechanics-Scout Night / Sleepover

The Mallards welcome Scout Groups for an overnight sleepover at The MARK. The sleepover will follow the Mallards game vs. Motor City. For more information, contact the Mallards ticket office at (309) 764-7825. The Motor City roster features four NHLers including future Hall of Famer Chris Chelios, Derian Hatcher, Sean Avery and Bryan Smolinski.

· Sunday, February 27th vs. the Kansas City Outlaws-Family Fun-Day Sunday

Family Fun-Day Sunday features an appearance by Sponge Bob Squarepants and a pre-game skate from 1:15-2:00 p.m.

The Mallards visit the Fury for the first time since November 5th. The Mallards are 2-2-0 vs. the Fury this year with both teams winning twice on home ice. Jersey Auction Night / Old-Time Hockey Night featuring Frank Pellico

The Mallards host the River Otters on Jersey Auction Night. Missouri added NHLers Barrett Jackman and Ryan Johnson in early February. Since the Blues duo joined the Otters, the teams is 5-1-0.

· Sunday, February 20th vs. the Richmond RiverDogs-3:00 p.m. at The MARK

Family Fun-Day Sunday

The RiverDogs are at The MARK for the only time this year on Sunday at The MARK. The Mallards are 3-0-0 vs. the Eastern Division this year with home victories over the Elmira Jackals, Danbury Trashers and Adirondack Frostbite. Quad City will look to complete their Eastern sweep on Sunday vs. Richmond.

Duck Talk

Tonight, the Mallards are back at The Blackbear Lounge at The Lodge for Duck Talk beginning at 7 p.m. This week's guests are Greg Barber, Mike Kompon and Justin Brown along with coach Paul Gillis. Duck Talk can also be heard on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230.

Wednesday, February 9th-Quad City 2 at Missouri 3-Shootout

The Mallards fell to 3-8 in the shootout with a heartbreaking shootout loss at Missouri. Alexandre Mathieu started the scoring with the only goal of the first 40 minutes. Mathieu scored shorthanded at 4:13 of the second to stake the Mallards to a 1-0 lead that they carried into the third period. In the third, Ryan Johnson and Mat Snesrud scored for Missouri just 1:50 apart to give the Otters a lead for the first time. With just 4:51 left in the period, Troy Smith scored his first goal as a Mallard to send the game into a shootout. The Mallards lost a seven-round shootout decision to the Otters as defenseman Riku Varjamo scored the winning shootout goal.

Friday, February 11th-Quad City 1 at Missouri 3

Terry Hollinger opened the scoring with his fifth marker of the season on a first period power play. The Otters would go on to record three unanswered goals on their way to the victory. Lars Pettersen scored in the second to tie the game at one. Ryan Johnson scored the game-winning goal at 12:17 of the third, and Mark Odut added an empty netter with just 1:37 left in the game.

Saturday, February 12th-Quad City 3 at Kansas City 2-Shootout

The most dramatic finish of 2004-05 produced a Mallards shootout victory over Kansas City on Saturday at Kemper Arena. After a scoreless first period, the teams traded second period goals as Jami Yoder scored for Kansas City and Greg Barber answered for the Mallards. In the third, Jay Murphy gave the Outlaws a 2-1 lead with a shorthanded goal at 3:32 of the period. Murphy's goal set the stage for Joe Dusbabek's late game heroics. With 1:04 left in the game, coach Paul Gillis pulled Jeff Reynaert in favor of the sixth attacker. The move paid off as Dusbabek scored just as time expired. Dusbabek's ninth goal of the season set the stage for the Mallards second shootout in three games. After five rounds, the shootout was tied a one and went into sudden death. In the eighth round, A.J. MacLean scored for the Mallards while Reynaert stopped Kansas City's Mike Murray.

Sunday, February 13th-Quad City 4 at Adirondack 2

The Mallards improved to 3-0-0 vs. the Eastern Division with a convincing victory over Adirondack. The Mallards took a 1-0 lead when Les Borsheim scored with just 56 seconds left in the opening period. In the second, Mallards goals by Troy Smith and Mike Kompon stretched the lead to 3-0. Kompon's goal was his 15th of the season moving him into a tie for first on the Mallards roster with Jason Deskins. In the third, A.J. MacLean's fifth goal of the season gave the Mallards a 4-0 lead. Donald MacPherson and Trevor Segstro scored for Adirondack just 34 seconds apart in the middle part of the third to ruin Jeff Reynaert's shutout.

Player of the Week-Marty Standish is the Mallards nominee for UHL Player of the Week. Standish recorded four assists in four games this weekend.

Goaltender of the Week-Jeff Reynaert is the Mallards nominee for UHL Goaltender of the Week. Reynaert went 2-0-1 this week while recording a 2.01 goals against average and a .941 save percentage.
