Moline, IL- The Mallards return to The MARK this week for Games Three and Four of the Western Conference Semifinal Series with the Rockford IceHogs. Quad City trails the series two games to none following losses at The Metrocentre in Games One and Two.
On Friday night, the Mallards suffered a 6-2 defeat as the Rockford attack was led by Preston Mizzi, who recorded two goals and an assist. Mizzi struck again on Sunday afternoon as he netted his third goal of the series and added two assists in a 3-1 Hogs win.

Playoff Hockey at The MARK
Playoff hockey is coming to The MARK on April 18th. Season ticket holders can use the season ticket holder card located at the back of their season ticket book for admission to all Mallards playoff games. Season ticket holders that have misplaced their card can visit The MARK box office to obtain their complimentary playoff tickets.
During the 2007 post-season, the Mallards are offering the Progressive Playoff Ticket Package. Tickets for the Mallards first home post-season game will be $5. For each home playoff date, the price will increase by $1. For example, in the Mallards opening round series, Games Three, Four and Six (if necessary) will be played at The MARK. For Game Three, individual tickets will be on sale for $5. Tickets to Game Four will be available for $6. If Game Six is necessary in the opening round, tickets will cost $7. This progressive scale will continue throughout the entire post-season. If the Mallards appear in the maximum number of home games (which would be eleven) during the 2007 post-season, a ticket to Game Seven of the Colonial Cup Final at The MARK will be available for just $15.
The Progressive Playoff Ticket Offer applies to all seats, upper bowl and lower bowl, at The MARK. Tickets are available at The MARK box office, via phone at (563) 326-1111 or on-line at ticketmaster.com. Season ticket holder seats will be reserved for the post-season and will not be made available for sale to the general public. featuring an appearance by former Chicago Bears Head Coach / NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka and a Banner Giveaway from Orthopaedic Specialists
Wednesday, April 18th 7:00 p.m. at The MARK
The Mallards host Rockford for the first time this post-season on Wednesday night. Fans in attendance will receive banners from Orthopaedic Specialists. Former Chicago Bears Head Coach Mike Ditka will be on hand as part of the Travis Hearn Gala that will precede the game. Tickets for the Travis Hearn Gala are still available. The scene for the Western Conference Semifinal shifts back to Rockford for a Sunday afternoon showdown between the Mallards and Hogs.
Duck Talk on the Air
Duck Talk is back at The Blackbear Lounge at The Lodge tonight. Mallards Head Coach Brian Curran, forwards Don Parsons and Matt Radoslovich and defenseman Steve MacIntyre will join host Aaron Roof. The show begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Blackbear Lounge at The Lodge. Duck Talk can also be heard on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230.

Friday, April 13th - Quad City 2 at Rockford 6
The Rockford IceHogs took a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven opening round series with the Mallards following a 6-2 win on Friday night at The Metrocentre. Preston Mizzi scored twice and added an assist in the win. In the first period, the Hogs outshot Quad City 19-9 and captured a 1-0 lead after one on Mizzi's first goal of the night. Brett Pilkington tied the game at one just 12 seconds into the second when he scored on a breakaway from Chad Woollard and Sergei Durdin. Following Pilkington's goal, the Hogs ran off three unanswered tallies to assume control of the game. Mizzi netted his second goal of the night just 23 seconds after Pilkington's tally to put Rockford up 2-1. Nicolas Corbeil scored shorthanded at 4:50 of the period and Chaz Johnson added a 4-on-4 goal at 16:51 of the second to put the Hogs up 4-1. Blake Stewart scored Quad City's second goal with 2:05 left in the second to pull the Mallards within two as the third period began. The Hogs scored the only goals of the closing period as Kevin Ulanski and Bruce Watson netted their first tallies of the post-season to set the final at 6-2.

Saturday, April 15th - Quad City 1 at Rockford 3
The Hogs took a two games to none lead in their opening round series vs. Quad City with a 3-1 win on Sunday afternoon at The Metrocentre. Preston Mizzi had a hand in each of the Hogs goals as he recorded a goal with two assists. The Mallards outplayed Rockford in the first period and earned a 19-11 shot advantage after one period. The Hogs were held up by a fantastic opening period by Frederic Cloutier, who stopped 19 first period shots. Bruce Watson scored the only goal of the first frame when he took a feed from Preston Mizzi following a Mallards turnover. In the second, Jason Tapp stopped all 15 shots he faced to allow the Mallards a chance to get back in the game. Sean Starke netted the equalizer for Quad City on a Mallards power play at 12:45 of the second. The period ended with the game knotted at one. In the third period, the Hogs earned the victory on a pair of goals in the final 4:32. Jesse Bennefield scored his first goal of the series on a behind-the-net feed from Jason Ralph at 15:28 of the third to give the Hogs the lead at 2-1. Mizzi added an insurance marker with 1:33 left to secure the win.
