Quad City Mallards News Release

Moline, IL-The Quad City Mallards today announced that the team has added defenseman Chris Mann to their 2007 post-season roster. Mann comes to the Mallards from Elmira in lieu of Andrei Lupandin, who was selected in the waiver draft but did not report to the team. Travis Granbois has also been placed on the Mallards playoff roster replacing Kristjan Jefkins. Jefkins will not be able to participate in the post-season due to injury.

Mann appeared in 67 games with the 2006-07 Jackals. He recorded 14 points on three goals and 11 assists. The 6-foot, 215-pound defenseman also recorded 171 penalty minutes during the recently completed season.

In 2005-06, Mann appeared in 61 games for the Jackals during his first full season of professional hockey. He scored seven points on a goal and six assists. He also ranked fourth in the UHL in penalty minutes with 313.

Mann joined the Jackals at the end of the 2004-05 regular season after completing his collegiate career at Elmira College. Mann was held scoreless in three games for the 2004-05 Jackals. During his four year collegiate career, Man recorded 58 points on 13 goals and 45 assists.

During the 2007 post-season, the Mallards are offering the Progressive Playoff Ticket Package. Tickets for the Mallards first home post-season game will be $5. For each home playoff date, the price will increase by $1. For example, in the Mallards opening round series, Games Three, Four and Five or Six (if necessary) will be played at The MARK. For Game Three, individual tickets will be on sale for $5. Tickets to Game Four will be available for $6. If Game Five (or Six) is necessary in the opening round, tickets will cost $7. This progressive scale will continue throughout the entire post-season. If the Mallards appear in the maximum number of home games (which would be eleven) during the 2007 post-season, a ticket to Game Seven of the Colonial Cup Final at The MARK will be available for just $15. The Progressive Playoff Ticket Offer applies to all seats, upper bowl and lower bowl, at The MARK. Season ticket holder seats will be reserved for the post-season and will not be made available for sale to the general public. For more information on the Progressive Playoff Ticket Offer, call the Mallards office at (309) 764-7825.
