Off to a Quick Start

Defenseman Chris McAllister etched his name into K-Wings' playoff history. McAllister's goal 11 seconds into the opening period last night, was the quickest goal scored in K-Wings' UHL playoff history.

Picking Up Where He Left Off

Forward Kory Karlander picked up in the playoffs where he left off in the regular season. Karlander, who finished the regular season with an amazing 45 goals, scored twice in the K-Wings 4-3 loss in game one.

Double Trouble

Including the regular season finale, the K-Wings have lost back to back home games for the first time this season. Dating back to last season, Kalamazoo has also dropped two straight playoff games at Wings Stadium.

Nearing a Milestone

Forwards Nick Bootland and Lucas Drake are both closing in on a K-Wings' playoff milestone. Both Bootland and Drake need one goal to break a three-way tie with Jim Duhart (1999-00) for the K-Wings' UHL franchise record for goals in a playoff career.
