Mallards Announce Schedule for First Round

Moline, IL-Quad City Mallards President and General Manager Howard Cornfield today announced the schedule for the teams opening round playoff series with the Muskegon Fury. The series kicks off Friday in Muskegon at 6:30 p.m. central time.

The Mallards will host Muskegon in Games Three and Four and, if necessary, Game Six. Game Three is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m. Game Four will be played at The MARK on Friday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Game Six, if necessary, is slated for a 6:00 p.m. start on Sunday, April 24th. Tickets to all Mallards playoff games are available at The MARK box office or via phone at (563) 326-1111.

The Mallards begin the post-season in Muskegon on Friday. The First Capital Financial Pre-Game Show is scheduled for a 6:05 p.m. central time start. On Saturday, Game Two is at L.C. Walker Arena with the First Capital Financial Pre-Game Show set for 6:05 p.m. central time.

If necessary, Games Five and Seven will also be in Muskegon. Game Five is scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m. central time. Game Seven is set for Tuesday, March 26th at 6:30 p.m. central time.

The post-season match-up marks the fifth consecutive season that the Mallards have met the Fury in the post-season. In the Mallards ten-year history, the franchises have met the Fury eight times.
