
Maksimov, Russian U-17's Wins Five Nations Tournament

PLYMOUTH, MI - On Saturday, Saginaw Spirit forward Kirill Maksimov chipped in with a goal to help his Team Russia to a 5-3 win over the United States Under-17 Team. With the win Russia solidified the best record of the five teams at the tournament. (Box Score). Maksimov had two goals on the tournament.
The Spirit second round pick in 2015 is a Concord, Ontario native but was born in Moskva, Russia. Maksimov has four goals and ten assists in his rookie OHL campaign. Maksimov is eligible for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
