Osceola Magic News Release
The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, fell to the Westchester Knicks 112-106 in front of a home crowd at the RP Funding Center.
One night after scoring 33 points, Andrew Rowsey continued his hot shooting with 13 points in the first quarter. Assignment player, Ignas Brazdeikis, added 9 points as the Knicks lead 32-30 at the end of the first. A series of Magic turnovers and 8 points from Lamar Peters in the second quarter allowed the Knicks to extend the lead to eight at the half.
Westchester took control early in the second half, building a 17 point lead. Three consecutive field goals from Vic Law stopped the run and brought the Magic to within 10 points going into the fourth quarter. The Magic exploded in the fourth and cut the lead to just two points midway through the final period but the Knicks never relinquished the lead, winning the game 112-106.
Vic Law, who signed a Two-Way contract by Orlando prior to the game, scored 28 points, shooting 60% from the field. Andrew Rowsey added 27 points. Over the course of the back-to-back at home against the Knicks, Law and Rowsey combined for 112 points. Michale Kyser posted 13 points and nine rebounds.
