Magic Acquire Nuni Omot from Knicks

Lakeland, Fla. - The Lakeland Magic have acquired forward Nuni Omot from the Westchester Knicks, General Manager Kevin Tiller announced today. Lakeland sends Westchester the player rights to Jordan Howard. The Magic have also acquired guard Riley LaChance from the available player pool.
Omot (6'9", 205, 10/3/94) has played in 31 games (three starts) this season with Westchester, averaging 10.35 ppg., 3.97 rpg., and 1.65 apg. in 21.9 minpg., while shooting .40 from the field.
LaChance (6'2", 185, 3/31/96) has played in 13 games this season with the Birmingham Squadron, averaging 3.31 ppg., 1.75 rpg., and 2.27 apg. in 13.1 minpg., while shooting .43 from the field.
The Lakeland Magic have also announced today that forwards Jemerrio Jones (knee) and D.J. Wilson (hand) have officially been deemed out for the season due to season-ending injuries.
