Mad Ants Announce Camp Invitees

Fort Wayne, IN (November 3, 2011)-The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that 11 players have been invited to attend their 2011-12 training camp.

Returning players from last season include Darnell Lazare, Marvin Phillips Jr., Corey Allmond, Anthony Kent, as well as former All-Stars Ron Howard, Walker Russell Jr., and Chris Hunter. Also returning to the team will be Notre Dame alum Tory Jackson, who participated in training camp last season but left the team prior to the season due to personal reasons.

Joining the returners through the local player open tryouts will be Antonio Smith, a 6'9" forward out of Michigan State, Ramon Harris, a 6'7" small forward out of Kentucky, and Michael Norwood Jr., a 6'7" small forward out of Coppin State.

The remaining six spots on the training camp roster will be set this evening starting at 7:00pm, as the Mad Ants have the tenth pick in the 2011 NBA Development League Draft.
