Erie BayHawks News Release

Erie, Pennsylvania, Thursday, November 3 - The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, have acquired veteran forward Jeff Graves from the Idaho Stampede in exchange for Erie's second round selection in Thursday's NBA Development League Draft.

Graves will be in the BayHawks Training Camp next week along with Erie's draft selections, four returning players including Blake Ahearn, Kyle Goldcamp, Kyle Spain and Chaz McCrommon, and three invites from the team's free agent tryouts: D.J. Kennedy, Marvin Roberts and Kayode Ayeni.

Erie still holds a second round pick (29th overall) in Thursday's draft as a result of last season's trade with Sioux Falls for guard Maureece Rice.

Graves (6-9, 270) last played professionally in 2009 with Idaho but suffered a torn ACL just two games into the season. Prior to playing in the Development League he also played internationally in Slovenia, Turkey and Croatia.

Graves was a member of the 2003 University of Kansas Final Four team that was defeated in the National Championship game by Carmelo Anthony and the Syracuse Orangemen.

The BayHawks will fill out their remaining Training Camp roster during Thursday's Draft in which Erie has eight total picks including the #7 and #9 overall selections (#9 selection is Idaho Stampede's pick acquired via trade for Cedric Jackson last season.)

The BayHawks open camp November 10 at the LECOM Medical Fitness & Wellness Center.

Erie's first home game this season is set for Thursday, December 1 at 7:00 pm at the Tullio Arena when the BayHawks face the Maine Red Claws. Season tickets and group tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 814-790-5600.
