
Mackor to catch Roger Clemens

SALEM, VA -- Never has a demotion felt so good.
Avalanche C Jeff Mackor has been sent down to Class-A Lexington to catch future hall-of-famer Roger Clemens in his rehabilitation start Tuesday, June 6th in Lexington, KY.
Mackor, who was drafted in the 15th round of the 2002 draft by the Houston Astros out of Boston College, is in his third season with the Avalanche. Mackor began his professional career in 2002 with the Tri-City ValleyCats of the New York Penn League.
The Avalanche continue their three-game series Tuesday, June 6th at 7:07 PM as they take on the Frederick Keys at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium.
