Mack Activated from Disabled List

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that OF DeAngelo Mack has been activated from the Disabled List. The move leaves the Thunder 24-man active roster at its maximum capacity.

Mack, a 24-year-old native of West Columbia, South Carolina, is hitting .246 with the Thunder this season in 36 games since being promoted from Advanced A Tampa in late May. Mack hit four homeruns with five doubles and drove in 17 runs before being sidelined two weeks ago with a hand injury.

Riding a four-game winning streak, the Thunder welcome the Richmond Flying Squirrels to Trenton on Thursday night at 7:05 PM for the first of a four-game set. The Thunder will give the pearl to RHP Dellin Betances (4-4, 3.20), while the Squirrels will counter with LHP Chuck Lofgren (1-0, 1.59).
