New York comes in to Tuesday night's contest with a record of 6-5, good for third place in the WNBA's Eastern Conference. Tuesday night's game will be broadcasted on the radio home of the Lynx, BOB FM 106 with Alan Horton on the play-by-play. LYNX PAIR WITH RED CROSS - OFFER "3-POINT PLAY"

The Lynx and the WNBA Court of Dreams program are teaming up to donate a portion of ticket profits from select Minnesota home games to the American Red Cross Twin Cities Area Chapter.

In a three-point play, Lynx fans can catch their favorite team live, save money on tickets and give back to the Twin Cities Red Cross all at the same time. Continuing for the next two home games at Target Center: Tuesday June 24 vs. New York and Thursday June 26 vs. Sacramento, fans can buy a $30 ticket for just $20. As an extra benefit, the Lynx will give $10 of each ticket sold to the Twin Cities Red Cross to help cover the cost of life saving services.

SATURDAY'S LYNX GAME

LYNX FALL TO HOUSTON

LYNX 65, COMETS 72

Shannon Johnson scored all 16 of her points in the second half and added six assists as Houston handed the Lynx their fifth straight loss, 72-65, on Saturday night at Target Center. Minnesota went the final seven minutes of the opening quarter without a field goal, scoring a club-record-low six points in falling behind by 11. Mistie Williams gave the Comets their biggest lead of the contest at 27-12 with 6:07 to play in the second before the Lynx roared back with 11 unanswered points and cut the margin to 34-29 by halftime. Anna DeForge's trey opened the third period to get Minnesota within two, but Tina Thompson countered with a 3-pointer and Johnson had 10 points in less than three minutes as Houston's lead swelled to 11. Trailing 63-52 with 5:26 remaining in the contest, the Lynx got to within six on a Candice Wiggins free throw but missed two chances to slice further into the Comets' advantage and Thompson's layup put the game out of reach. Thompson led Houston with 18 points and pulled in eight rebounds, while Michelle Snow grabbed nine boards. Wiggins' 24 points and four assists topped Minnesota, with Seimone Augustus contributing 12 points and six rebounds.
