
LumberKings return home for the Fourth

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings are coming back home for the biggest day of the baseball season, the Fourth of July! In a brief two game homestand the LumberKings welcome in the Kane County Cougars (Single A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) for their final trip to Clinton this season.
The patriotic festivities begin the day before the LumberKings come into town on Tuesday, July 3rd with a car show from 5 PM through 7 PM by the Clinton Area Rod Club on 6th avenue North next to Ashford University Field! After seeing some of the most classic four-bangers produced in America join us for a concert inside the ballpark by Bowman, Pickney and Evans. Tickets are $5 with the proceeds going to the Clinton Fourth of July Festival. Beer will be sold in the Dr. Pepper PicnicGarden area.
The perfect marriage of baseball and America's birthday comes to Clinton for the Fourth of July! Make sure to get your tickets in advance for what will be the largest crowd of the season at Ashford University Field.
All game long we tip out caps to America with patriotic themed giveaways for fans entering through the main gates and the largest postgame Fireworks Spectacular of the year presented by Billion Auto of Clinton.
Thursday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m. | Gates open 5 p.m. | vs. Kane County Cougars
The homestand comes to an end on "Thirsty Thursday" with the series finale against the Kane County Cougars. Fans 21 years and older can enjoy $2 Coors Light and Miller Lite tall boys from 5-8 PM, sold throughout the ballpark. Also, the River Cities Tennis and Pickleball Association will be on hand for Pickleball demonstrations and will be auctioning off special Madison Keys autographed items.
