Lumberkings lose game one to Peoria
May 28, 2005 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Clinton LumberKings News Release
The LumberKings were held to four singles and a double and Michael Schlact (4-3; 5.19) got knocked around a little, allowing five runs on six hits and a walk in six frames, as Clinton fell back into a tie for the MWL West lead at 28-20.
Schlact had his moments, fanning six in as many innings, before handing the ball to Kevin Altman (3.18) who allowed a run on three hits without issuing a walk in three innings of relief.
Tug Hulett (.308 / .443 / .398) doubled for Clinton's only extra-base hit and no L-King reached more than once. Clinton scored both of their runs on a single by Emerson Frostad in the ninth.
