Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings have copies of Lucas Mann's "Class A: Baseball in the Middle of Everywhere" available in the team souvenir store. The book tells the story of the LumberKings' 2010 season, which culminated in Clinton's trip to the Midwest League Championship Series. Mann's account focuses not just on the players and coaches, but also the dedicated fans and small-town setting of Clinton.

"Class A" is the debut book from Lucas Mann, an award-winning essayist from the University of Iowa. Mann spent the entire 2010 season with the LumberKings capturing the many stories of small-town minor-league baseball.
