Lansing Lugnuts News Release
The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced Wednesday that left-handed pitcher John Anderson has been transferred to Lansing from Dunedin (A-Advanced, Florida State League) and will start the Lugnuts' game tonight at Oldsmobile Park against West Michigan.
Anderson, 20, began the season in Lansing's starting rotation, posting a 2-6 record with a 4.35 ERA in 18 starts before getting placed on the Disabled List on July 20. He was activated from the DL on August 18 and promoted to Dunedin, striking out five batters over three perfect innings in his only appearance.
