LANSING, Mich. - Matt Nuzzo drew a one-out, four-pitch, bases-loaded walk from Andrew Pevsner, gifting the Lansing Lugnuts (2-0; 40-29) a 10-inning 3-2 victory over the Great Lakes Loons (0-2; 39-32) before a crowd of 8,314 on Saturday night on Jackson Field.

After playing only two extra-inning games in the first half, the Lugnuts have defeated the Loons in back-to-back contests beyond nine innings to start the second half.

Jake Marisnick led off the last of the 10th with a leadoff double against Raul Burgos (Loss, 1-2). The Loons intentionally walked Marcus Knecht. Pevsner came on to coax a groundout to second from K.C. Hobson, with both runners moving up. Michael Crouse was intentionally walked, bringing up Nuzzo.

All four of Pevsner's subsequent pitches missed outside, ending the ballgame.

Lansing reliever Shawn Griffith (Win, 1-0) pitched the top of the 10th, allowing a walk and recording a strikeout, to earn the victory.

Great Lakes starter Angel Sanchez held the Lugs hitless during his five innings, walking four and striking out six, only to see reliever Pete Budkevics promptly surrender a 1-0 lead via a Hobson RBI triple and a Crouse RBI single in the 6th.

The Loons tied the score at 2-2 in the 7th against Matt Fields thanks to an unearned run, brought home by a Casio Grider RBI fielder's choice.

The Lugnuts walked 10 times in the game, three each by Knecht and Crouse, increasing their league-leading total to 270 base-on-balls.

Sunday is a special Bark in the Park Day Kids Day at Cooley Law School Stadium, featuring Kids Run the Bases after the game. Lansing right-hander Casey Lawrence (4-7, 4.68) opposes Great Lakes right-hander Garrett Gould (7-2, 1.54) in the 2:05 matchup.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, at the stadium box office, and by calling 517-485-4500.
