Lowry Selected 67th Overall By Winnipeg Jets

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco forward, Adam Lowry, was selected 67th overall by the Winnipeg Jets of the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft at the Excel Center in Minneapolis today.

In 66 games played, Lowry scored a career-high 18 goals and career-best 27 assists in the 2010-11 campaign with the Broncos. He went up 11 points from his rookie season in the Western Hockey League.

The 6'4", 184 pound Calgary, AB product was selected 78th overall by the Broncos in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. NHL Central Scouting ranked Lowry 58th overall amongst all North American Skaters in the Final Draft Rankings.

The 2010 WHL Scholastic Player of the Year, Lowry, notched three points with Team Pacific in the 2010 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
