
Lowell Devils Announce 2008-09 Promotional Schedule

LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils, American Hockey League affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, have announced their promotional schedule for the 2008-09 season.
It all starts at the Devils' home opener on Saturday, October 11th against the Worcester Sharks at 7:00 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive free bang sticks, courtesy of Mountain Dew, and a 2008-09 Lowell Devils magnetic schedule, courtesy of Eastern Bank.
This year's promotional schedule features four separate bobblehead giveaways, including Martin Brodeur Bobblehead Night on Saturday, January 24. The first 2,500 fans will receive a bobblehead of the New Jersey Devils goaltender, courtesy of Comcast Business Services. The Devils will also be offering player bobbleheads to the first 2,000 fans on Saturday, February 28, Saturday, March 21 and Saturday, April 4.
On Saturday, December 27th, the Devils will be giving away a commemorative team poster to the first 3,000 fans through the doors, courtesy of Gridiron Athletics. The team will also be giving away its first ever Lowell Devils Mr. Potato Head, courtesy of Trinity EMS, to first 2,500 fans in attendance on Saturday, January 31.
For the second consecutive year, the Devils will host the CVS Celebrity All-Star Game on Sunday, February 8th at 2:00p.m. Former Boston Bruins and NHL stars will be facing off in this exhibition game prior to the Devils' battle against the Hartford Wolfpack at 4:00p.m. A ticket to this afternoon game will gain fans admission to the All-Star Game. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a special gift bag containing $100 worth of merchandise.
Throughout the season, every Sunday home game will feature a free post-game public skate on the Tsongas Arena ice, courtesy of Eastern Bank. Select Wednesday games will once again be known as "Dollar Dawg Nights" as hot dogs will cost just $1. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs from the entire Lowell Devils team during five post-game Team Autograph Nights during the course of the season.
