Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI - Under the guidance of Governor/CEO Harris Turer, the Milwaukee Admirals unveiled the team's new third jersey at a special event for season ticket holders Thursday evening at the Bradley Center. This marks the first time in team history that the team will don a third jersey on a regular basis.

The Admirals special third jersey features the same colors as their traditional jerseys (white, black, and ice blue), but the most prominent color in this jersey is the ice blue. Besides the change in color scheme the other primary difference with the new jersey is the use of the Admirals full body logo, rather than the Admiral skull which currently adorns the Ads normal home and road jerseys.

"I am thrilled to be able to present these fantastic new jerseys to our fans tonight," said Turer. "We are very proud of the fact that our regular jerseys were rated as one of the top sweaters in the AHL by The Hockey News and we hope that the addition of this jersey puts us at the top. We could not be happier with the way that these have turned out."

Milwaukee will wear the special jerseys for ten games in their first 40 games of the season, five times on the road and five at home. This includes the team's home opener on Saturday, October 18th versus the Rockford IceHogs at the Bradley Center. Other home dates that the team will don the special sweaters are November 16th, December 29th, December 30th, and January 3rd.

Fans can purchase the new jerseys, with either a blank back or personalized with a name/number, via the Admirals website at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com.
