Loons Wearing Pink Jerseys Thursday
Published on May 9, 2007 under Midwest League (MWL1)
Great Lakes Loons News Release
On a typical night at Dow Diamond, Loons players can be seen sporting white or black uniforms. But on Thursday night as the Loons play the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Loons players and coaches will be looking pretty in pink. The pink jerseys are a part of MidMichigan Health's Breast Cancer Awareness Night and the Loons' Pink Jersey-Off-The-Back Auction.
During the game, fans will have a chance to bid on the game-worn pink jerseys. The highest bidder will be presented with the game-worn jersey after the game. All profits from the jersey auction will go to benefit the Pardee Cancer Center at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Also during the game, MidMichigan Health will present a Women's Health Fair.
Great seats still remain for Thursday's Breast Cancer Awareness Night game against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Get yours today by calling 989-837-BALL, by visiting the ticket office at Dow Diamond, or by logging on to Loons.com.
