Clinton, IA (May 9, 2007) - The Kansas City Royals have activated Burlington Bees catcher Ross Boudreaux from the disabled list. Boudreaux had been on the disabled list since Opening Day. The Bees active roster is back to 25 players.

The Royals signed Boudreaux as a non-drafted free agent on June 9, 2005 out of Southern Arkansas University. Last year, he played in 32 games with short-season Idaho Falls and hit .171 with 2 doubles and 9 RBI. He made his pro debut in the Arizona Rookie League in 2005 was hit .259 with 2 homers and 13 RBI in 27 games.

Boudreaux will be available tonight when the Bees take on the Clinton LumberKings at Alliant Energy Field. Tonight's game starts at 6:00 and will be broadcast live on KBUR AM 1490 and KBKB AM 1360 with the pre-game show starting at 5:45. The Bees will be back home tomorrow for a four-game home stand with two games against Clinton and two against the Swing of the Quad Cities.
