
IIAC Baseball Tournament starts Thursday, May 10th

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) baseball tournament will be held at Veterans Memorial Stadium May 10th-12th. The tournament will host the top six teams in the conference: Wartburg, Luther, Loras, Central, Buena Vista and Simpson.
This is a double-elimination tournament with each game consisting of 9 innings. The winner of this tournament will advance to the NCAA Division III Central Regional Tournament and play for a bid in the NCAA Division III College World Series.
The first round of games will be played on Thursday, May 10th. Tournament seeds were based on the final IIAC standings.
All games, with the exception of Central vs. Buena Vista which will be played at Daniels Park (Coe College home field), will be played at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Thursday May 10th
#4 Central vs. #5 Buena Vista - 1 pm (Daniels Park)
#3 Loras vs. #6 Simpson - 1 pm
Loras-Simpson winner vs. #2 Luther - 4 pm
Central-BV winner vs. #1 Wartburg - 7 pm
Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Tournament passes are also available.
