Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Chattanooga Lookouts dropped their final home game of the season, 9-2, to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
The Jumbo Shrimp jumped out to an early lead in the second inning on an Eric Jagielo three run homer. They added one more run in the first and three more in the fourth to take a commanding 7-0 lead. In the fifth inning Jimmy Kerrigan drove home the team's first run of the day on sacrifice fly.
After Jacksonville scored two more in the seventh, Andy Wilkins hit a towering homer that just snuck fair. Wilkins has now hit a homer in four straight games and has five in his last six contests.
On Thursday the Lookouts head to Jackson for their last five games of the year. RHP Jorge Alcala faces off against RHP Emilo Vargas. Game time for that road match 7:05 p.m.
