
Lookouts Can't Overcome Early Deficit in 8-6 Loss

The Chattanooga Lookouts allowed six runs across the first three innings in their 8-6 loss to the Birmingham Barons.
In the first inning, Bryan Ramos belted a two-run shot to put them on top early. Down 4-0, James Free ended the shutout with a solo home run, but the away squad continued to pile on. Chattanooga kept the game within striking distance on home runs by Quincy McAfee and Allan Cerda.
Trailing 8-4 in the eighth, Chattanooga brought home one run and then loaded the bases for Edwin Arroyo. The Reds #3 prospect belted a long fly ball, but it was caught right at the wall. The out brought home Matheu Nelson to make it 8-6.
In the loss, the Lookouts bullpen combined to only allow one run in six innings of work.
Tomorrow is the team's last regular season game of the year. First pitch is at 2:15 p.m.
