Lloyd and McKenzie named CFL All-Stars

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce that two defensive players have been chosen to the CFL All-Star team. The CFL All-Stars were selected by voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), the eight CFL head coaches and CFL fans from across the country.

MAURICE LLOYD (LB): In his third CFL season, Lloyd picks up his first CFL all-star nomination. The 25-year old recorded 75 defensive tackles, nine special teams tackles, five quarterback sacks and five tackles for a loss, while starting in all 18 games this season. Lloyd was also the Rider nominee as top defensive player.

ANTON McKENZIE (LB): In his third CFL season, McKenzie picks up his first CFL all-star nomination. The 27-year old finished the season with 68 defensive tackles, seven special teams tackles, two interceptions and a team leading six tackles for a loss while starting 14 games at linebacker.
