Browner named CFL Defensive All-Star

The Calgary Stampeders are proud to announce that cornerback Brandon Browner has been named to the CFL Defensive All-Star team.
Browner, 24, is in his second season with the Stampeders. Opponents tend to stay from the physical cornerback, but Browner still finished second on the Stamps with three interceptions and third with 61 tackles. He also forced three fumbles, recovered two fumbles, had a quarterback sack, eight pass knockdowns and 14 special-teams tackles.
Selections are made by the Football Reporters of Canada and each Canadian Football League team also has one vote.
Tickets are still available for the West Final on Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m. against BC. The game is expected to sell out, so fans are encouraged to get their tickets through Ticketmaster at 403.777.0000 or by visiting Ticketmaster.ca.
