Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears kick off their first of two preseason games tonight as they head to Estero, Florida, to battle the Florida Everblades.
Both games this weekend against the Everblades will be carried live on iHeartSolarBears radio. Fans can tune in to the broadcast by going to iHeartSolarbears.com, 740thegame.com, or www.iheart.com/live/601/. The game is also available on smartphones and tablets with the iHeartRadio app.
Tonight's preseason game begins at 7:30 p.m., and the puck will drop at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night. The Solar Bears will begin the regular season on October 12, at the Germain Arena against the Florida Everblades.
The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and AHL's Houston Aeros, are coming Out of Hibernation and will play 36 regular season home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center, beginning October 20, 2012.
