
Lions wrap Canadian Draft with three additional picks

(Vancouver) The BC Lions wrapped up their 2009 Canadian Draft with three more selections in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.
After securing running back Jamall Lee (1st round, 3rd overall), James Yurichuk (1st round, 4th overall) and Matt Carter (1st round, 5th overall), the Lions picked up Windsor offensive lineman Matt Morencie (3rd round, 21st overall), Kansas University defensive back Tang Bacheyie (4th round, 29th overall) and finished off with University of Montreal defensive lineman Jonathan Pierre-Etienne (5th round, 37th overall)
"Today has provided very satisfying results as far as our selections are concerned, and I am excited to see what these players will bring to the field in early June," said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono.
