CHARLOTTE - Nashville SC unveiled its matchday squad and Starting XI before its Saturday night match against Charlotte Independence kicking off at 6 p.m. CT.

The Starting XI includes:

Keeper: Matt Pickens

Defenders: Taylor Washington, Forrest Lasso, Jimmy Ockford and Darnell King

Midfielders: Ken Tribbett, Matt LaGrassa and Lebo Moloto

Forwards: Kharlton Belmar, Alan Winn and Daniel Ríos

The bench will include keeper Connor Sparrow, defenders Justin Davis and Kosuke Kimura, midfielder Bolu Akinyode and forwards Tucker Hume, Ropapa Mensah and Cameron Lancaster.

A few notes about the Starting XI:

Keeper

Matt Pickens makes his 16th start of the season and his sixth consecutive start. He will be going for his 100th clean sheet of his career in this match

Defense

Jimmy Ockford makes his sixth start since joining Nashville SC on loan from MLS' San Jose Earthquakes

Forrest Lasso makes his fifth Nashville SC start after being acquired on loan from MLS' FC Cincinnati. He will serve as captain.

Taylor Washington makes his 16th start of the season

Darnell King makes his 11th start of the season

Midfield

Matt LaGrassa returns to the starting lineup for the first time since July 6 at Louisville City FC

Lebo Moloto makes his 21ST start of the season

Ken Tribbett makes his second consecutive start in the midfield

Forward

Daniel Ríos will make his 24th start of the season

Alan Winn returns to the lineup to make his 10th start of the season

Kharlton Belmar makes his 18th start of the season

Cameron Lancaster will be available for the first time since suffering an injury against Louisville City FC on June 6
