Lightning Assign Zbynek Hrdel To Mississippi

TAMPA, FL - The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have re-assigned forward Zbynek Hrdel ("ZBEE-nehk huhr-DEHL") from Norfolk to the ECHL's Mississippi Sea Wolves.

Hrdel, 22, is a 6-foot-1, 199-pound right wing from Pisek, Czech Republic. He skated in two games with Norfolk after being re-assigned from Mississippi last Wednesday and did not score with two penalty minutes. He has two goals and eight penalty minutes in 18 games with Norfolk this season. In 68 career American Hockey League games between Norfolk and the Springfield Falcons, Hrdel has seven goals and 10 assists with 34 penalty minutes.

On the season with the Sea Wolves, Hrdel has three goals and two assists with eight penalty minutes in 12 games. In 92 career ECHL games between Mississippi and the Johnstown Chiefs, the third-year pro has 22 goals and 30 assists with 85 penalty minutes.

The Admirals will conclude their nine-game road trip with a rematch against the Sharks in Worcester on Wednesday night.

The Admirals return to Scope on Friday against the Philadelphia Phantoms. The first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a team trading card set courtesy of Konica Minolta. In addition, TNA Wrestlers "Showtime" Eric Young and "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams will be on hand to sign autographs on the concourse from 6:15 - 6:45 p.m.
