FOLLOW THE LEADER
The Wolves' 4-1 win over Providence at the Allstate Arena on Sunday pushed the squad into a tie with the Bruins for the best record in the American Hockey League (42-14-2-1); Chicago's 42 wins and 87 points are the most in franchise history through 59 games.

--- JESSE SCHULTZ: Recorded five points (3G, 2A) in his last three games which includes two third-period goals in Sunday's win over Providence ... Ranks second on the squad with a career-high 33 assists and shares third with 53 points in 59 games ... Leads team forwards with a +16 plus/minus rating and ranks fourth with 20 goals
--- JOE MOTZKO: Tallied five assists in his first three games with the Wolves after being assigned to the team by the Atlanta Thrashers on Tuesday ... Acquired by Atlanta in a trade with the Washington Capitals at the NHL Trade Deadline ... Registered 48 points (21G, 27A) in 48 games with the Hershey Bears this season and four points (2G, 2A) in eight games with the Capitals
--- JASON KROG: Leads the AHL with a career-high 81 points in 59 games this season, which includes collecting three goals and four points in four tilts last week ... Ranks second in the league with a career-best 53 assists and is tied for second with a career-most 28 goals
--- ONDREJ PAVELEC: Registered a 10-1-1 mark over his last 12 games, holding rivals to just 14 goals (346 saves on 360 shots) ... Leads AHL rookies and ranks second overall with 25 wins (25-9-1) in just 35 appearances
--- BRETT STERLING: Leads the AHL with 31 goals - which includes netting a marker in two straight games - and is tied for 12th with 53 points in 49 tilts ... Potted 86 goals in 126 career games with Chicago, fourth on the franchise's all-time list

WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves will play five of their next six games at the Allstate Arena; Chicago's 22 victories and .750 winning percentage on home ice lead the AHL.
--- With 21 games remaining on its regular-season slate, Chicago has opened up an 11-point lead over the Rockford IceHogs for the West Division lead, with four contests in hand.
--- The Wolves have netted four goals in two straight outings and have dented the net at least four times in 35 of their 59 matchups this season; Chicago leads the AHL with 223 goals and an average of 3.78 markers per game.
--- Chicago's lineup boasts four players with at least 20 goals (BRETT STERLING, JASON KROG, JOE MOTZKO and JESSE SCHULTZ).
--- Chicago has held opponents to one or fewer goals in nine of its last 13 contests; the squad is allowing an average of 2.64 tallies per game this season, eighth-fewest in the league.
--- The Wolves have notched a power-play goal in six straight games, racking up 10 during that span; Chicago leads the AHL with 85 man-advantage markers and ranks second overall on the power play at 22.1 percent (85 of 385).
YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!
Defenseman BRIAN SIPOTZ dyed his hair blue last week, following through on a promise to fans to raise money for charity. Wolves fans had four weeks to donate funds in support of their favorite color, with blue ultimately garnering the most cash. SIPOTZ raised more than $2,000 for charities including the Interfaith Council for the Homeless, the Dan Snyder Memorial Fund and the City of Chicago's Animal Care and Control.

--- Chicago used two third-period goals from right wing JESSE SCHULTZ to snap a 1-1 tie on the way to a 4-1 victory over the Providence Bruins at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards DARREN HAYDAR (G, A) and JOE MOTZKO (2A) and defenseman BRIAN FAHEY
(2A) each collected two points apiece
--- Netminder ONDREJ PAVELEC registered 35 saves on 36 shots

--- Tied 2-2 after 40 minutes, the Wolves allowed four third-period goals on the way to losing, 6-4, against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards JOE MOTZKO and JESSE SCHULTZ each posted two assists for Chicago, which allowed a season-high five power-play goals.
--- Goaltender ROBERT GHERSON notched 31 saves

--- The Wolves surrendered two one-goal leads before dropping a 3-2 decision in the shootout against the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center
--- Forwards COLIN STUART (SHG) and JESSE SCHULTZ (PP) scored for Chicago
--- ONDREJ PAVELEC turned aside 40 of 42 shots in regulation and overtime and thwarted one of three attempts in the shootout

--- Chicago parlayed a season-high four first-period goals into a 5-1 win over the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center
--- Forwards JORDAN LaVALLEE and JASON KROG each scored twice
