Earlier today, New York selected Janel McCarville in the 2007 Dispersal Draft. After an All-American career at Minnesota, the 6'2" McCarville was selected by the Charlotte Sting with the first pick in the 2005 WNBA Draft. Currently playing in Slovakia in preparation of the 2007 season, McCarville is averaging more than 14 points and 11 boards per game.
