Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The first-place IronPigs (54-37) play the finale of a four-game, home series against the Buffalo Bisons (41-44) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-3 victory last night, the Pigs have won back-to-back games and set a new season high-water mark of 17 games above .500. The Pigs have won six of their last seven contests and own a 25-11 record since June 3. Lehigh Valley maintained its franchise-record/season-high, 6.5-game lead over Scranton/WB in the IL North... The Bisons -- Toronto's top affiliate -- have gone just 7-15 since June 19, the last time they were at their high-water mark of five games (34-29). In fact, the Bisons need a win today to avoid falling back to their low-water mark of the season -- set a 12-16 on May 14... Next up for the Pigs is a seven-game, West Division road trip that starts tomorrow with the opener of a three-game series in Columbus.

LHP Ranger Suarez (0-0, 1.93) will start for LHV against RHP Nick Tepesch (0-4, 6.26).

First-Pitch today is at 1:35 p.m.
