Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The third-place IronPigs (14-13) play the finale of a four-game, road series against the Rochester Red Wings (11-13) at Frontier Field... With an 8-0 loss yesterday, the Pigs snapped their three-game winning streak. Still, Lehigh Valley has won six of its last nine affairs... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- snapped a three-game losing streak in recording their third shutout of the season... The Pigs have lost just one of their last 13 sets against the Wings, going 8-1-4 in series since the start of 2016 for a 27-17 record.
RHP Jake Waguespack (0-2, 4.50) will start for LHV against LHP Stephen Gonsalves (1-0, 0.00).
First-pitch today is at 1:05 p.m.
The Pigs next return home for a seven-game, North Division homestand starting tomorrow against first-place Pawtucket (14-12).
