Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (12-11) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox (12-12) at Coca-Cola Park... With an 8-3 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped four of their last six games and have fallen to 1-2 on what is now a seven-game, North Division homestand. The Pigs remain 10-6 since April 16 after starting the season 2-5... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- snapped a four-game skid and have now won all three games at Coca-Cola Park this season. The streaky Sox started the season 2-5, then won seven in a row before going 3-7 over their last 10 affairs.
RHP Jake Thompson (1-3, 6.16) will start for LHV against LHP Eduardo Rodriguez (0-1, 4.91).
Tonight is a Larry Holmes Bobblehead Giveaway, presented by St. Luke's University Health Network... First-Pitch is 7:05 p.m.
