Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Down to their final nine games of 2015, the IronPigs (60-75) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the fourth-place Syracuse Chiefs 61-74) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 2-1 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back contests and have fallen to 1-3 on this eight-game road trip. Since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42), Lehigh Valley has posted a 38-33 record... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have won back-to-back games and five straight over the Pigs, four of which have come at NBT Bank Stadium. The Chiefs have gone 7-7 since their season-high 11-game winning streak from Aug. 3-15, which included a three-game, home sweep against the Pigs from Aug. 11-13 (started with seven straight against Pawtucket).
RHP Sean O'Sullivan (3-2, 3.86) will start for LHV against RHP A.J. Cole (5-5, 3.18).
