Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (12-26) play Game 1 of a three-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (16-21) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 5-3 loss in Rochester yesterday, the Pigs split the four-game series to begin 2-2 on this seven-game, North Division road trip. The Pigs, who started 6-20, are currently enjoying their best 12-game stretch of the season (6-6)... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have lost their last two games in Charlotte to drops a three-game set, 2-1. However, the Chiefs finished 4-3 on their seven-game, South Division road trip and are 9-7 in May after starting 7-14... The Pigs won the first series between these teams April 13-15 (2-1).
RHP Phillippe Aumont (2-1, 1.36) will start for LHV against RHP Taylor Jordan (1-2, 2.45).
First Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
