The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that LHP Jarrett Casey has been promoted from Class A Winston-Salem . Roster at 25.
Casey, 26, made seven appearances (one start) for the Barons in 2013 going 0-1 with a 6.94 ERA (9 ER/11.2 IP). In six appearances with the Dash this season, Casey is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER/8.0 IP), 11 strikeouts and two saves.
