
Lehoux Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

MANCHESTER, NH â Manchester Monarchs center Yanick Lehoux is expected to miss a minimum of four months after undergoing successful knee surgery, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Wednesday.
Lehoux, selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the third-round (86th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, had surgery to repair a torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee on Wednesday morning (January 19). Dr. James Vailas, the Monarchs Medical Director, performed the surgery at the Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Lehoux was injured in Friday night's game (January 14) against the Worcester IceCats. The 22-year-old native of Repentigny, Quebec, is second on the Monarchs and tied for third in the American Hockey League in scoring with 54 points (23-31=54) in 38 games.
The Monarchs host the IceCats at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Wednesday, January 19 at 7:05 p.m., before hitting the road for a 7:05 p.m. contest against the Binghamton Senators at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, January 21. They then head to the Pepsi Arena to face-off against the Albany River Rats on Saturday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m., before finishing up the weekend at the DCU Center with a rematch against the IceCats at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, January 23.
Ticket Availability: 200 seats in the Gold level and 2,900 seats in the Silver level remain for the Monarchs game against the IceCats on Wednesday night.
