The Edmonton Road Runners return home on Friday, January 21 to face the Manitoba Moose (Top affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) in a two-game series at Rexall Place.
Friday, January 21, 2005 vs. Manitoba Moose (7:00 p.m.) - Razzles Birthday Party & Burger King Whopper Of A Win Night: Fans attending Fridays game will help celebrate the birthday of Road Runners mascot, Razzle. There will be free birthday cake on the concourse, special guests, and the on-ice debut of the Edmonton Oilers Fanboni! Its also Burger Kings Whopper Of A Win Night for all fans in attendance. If the Road Runners win, every fan in Rexall Place will win a free Whopper from Burger King.
Sunday, January 23, 2005 vs. Manitoba Moose (2:00 p.m.) - Road Runner Cartoon Festival: Fans attending the Sunday afternoon game can stick around for a Road Runner Cartoon Festival on the big screen immediately following the game. There will be free popcorn for all fans watching the Cartoon Festival.
JANUARY IS FAMILY MONTH AT REXALL PLACE
The Edmonton Road Runners are offering a number of initiatives for their Family Month theme for home games during the month of January.
The Club is offering free family carload parking for all games during the month. Cars containing four or more people can park for free on the main Rexall Place site, while space is available. Entry is through the main gates at 120 Avenue and Wayne Gretzky Drive South.
Throughout January, retail outlets at Rexall Place are offering a youth Road Runners jersey at half-price when an adult jersey is purchased at regular price.
Families will also have the opportunity to receive a family portrait at no charge. A portrait area will be set up on the main concourse where families can pose for the free portrait in a Road Runners dressing room stall. The photos will be e-mailed to the families following the game.
All games during the month of January also feature Edmonton Sun Family Packs, which include four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks on sale for only $64, a savings of $46 per Pack.
