Hershey Bears News Release

HERSHEY reaches the halfway point of the 2004-05 season tonight as the Maple Leafs come to town for a 7:30 p.m. start.

The Leafs enter play tonight in third place in the AHL's North Division standings. Tonight's game is the first of four between the two teams, with St. John's playing at GIANT Center again next Wednesday night. HERSHEY will return the favor by playing a two-game set at Mile One Stadium in Newfoundland the first weekend in March.

Tom Lawson is expected to get his first start in goal tonight since December 19 against Syracuse. Peter Budaj had his personal nine-game winning streak broken Saturday night in a 3-2 loss to the Norfolk Admirals.

Tonight's game can be heard on the BEARS radio network. John Walton and Dave Sottile call the action beginning at 7:10 p.m.
